Fire Station 2
Have 2 Ways Out!
This year, the Downers Fire Department hosted a community open house to celebrate National Fire Prevention week where children and adults learned how to prevent fires, and what to do in case of one. This year’s theme was “Have 2 Ways Out!”
The Fire Safety Fun House was designed to aid in the education, by creating a visual reminder of what to do. Sometimes visual elements stick better than merely using words and instructions.
It was also a lot more fun for the kids!
